Alkista Botanicals is rooted in the idea that you don’t have to go far from home to source great natural product ingredients for skincare. While other brands travel far and wide to chase down the next best, exotic ingredient from a far-away rainforest or a hard-to-reach ocean, Alkista takes inspiration from traditional Western herbs that are native or naturalized to North America. By home-sourcing our beloved herbs whenever possible, we shorten the supply chain, support local growers, reduce our carbon footprint, and source the freshest plant-based ingredients possible, which ultimately results in more potent products that do what the customer needs them to do. Well-formulated natural skincare never goes out of style.

We’re all about plants. And simple products that work.
We started out making soap because we’re sensitive to a lot of over-the-counter skincare product ingredients. Turns out, we’re not the only ones. If you have a skin condition and have been let down by commercial skincare, you’re not alone. We’re out to fix that. Many botanical skincare products on the market are either too complicated (contain unnecessary ingredients), contain very little “actives” (ingredients doing the heavy lifting), or are not designed for those having eczema, psoriasis, etc. (contain sensitizers and common irritants). At Alkista Botanicals, we spend a lot of time researching and selecting our ingredients and formulate the final product with those in mind who are most likely to have issues with traditional skincare. We aim to fill the botanical skincare gap and provide our customers with sensitive skin with products they haven’t seen on the store shelf, but should. Life is too short to be miserable in your own skin and effective botanical skincare can help improve one’s quality of life. It’s time for a botanical skincare reboot and we’re leading the way.
